for the New York Mets Super Bowl LVII
”A baseball club running an ad in the Super Bowl is bold incursion.” - The New York Times
How do you make the Mets famous in a city where the Yankees play? We pitched (get it?) the Mets on creating a hotline where fans could call in and purchase season tickets directly from the players. To promote the hotline, we ran the first Super Bowl ad by a baseball team, packed with inside jokes your distant cousin from Queens would appreciate.
The campaign drove more ticket sales than any other single day that offseason. And we even gained the approval of the notoriously hard-to-please Mets fanbase.
