Every sports fan loves to fantasize about pitting champions from different generations against in each other. In April 2024, for Formula One fans, this fantasy became a reality.

Six legendary champions from the past returned to the track as holographic racers powered by AI. They faced off against one real, modern F1 driver in a groundbreaking real vs. virtual showdown.

This one-hour TV special, premiering on the BBC, took viewers on a journey through F1's past, and offered a glimpse into its future.

I took this project from concept and R&D to pitching, writing, production, and editing, a two-year process in total.
