So on World Down Syndrome Day, we launched#NotSpecialNeeds. The movement took aim at the insensitive phrase “special needs,” and inspired a more accurate and empathetic understanding of Down Syndrome. Complete with Bruno Mars, Dr. Cox, and a cat massage. You know, all the normal things you would expect from a heartfelt PSA.
